Narcis Kantardžić
Akademski slikar, rođen je 7. aprila u Derventi. Završio je Akademiju likovnih umjetnosti u Sarajevu u klasi profesora Milorada Ćorovića. Jedan je od inicijatora osnivanja likovne skupine „Zvono“, a neposredno pred rat bio je izabran za asistenta profesoru Laliću na Likovnoj akademiji.
Ratni vihor odveo ga je u Celje u Sloveniji, gdje je stekao punu afirmaciju.Na izložbama u Londonu dobio je izvrsne kritike tamošnje javnosti, a Dervenćanima svakako godi podatak da je on jedan od naših sugrađana koji u svakoj prilici iskazuje svoju pripadnost i privrženost Derventi.
Narcis planira izgradnju vikendice u Derventi i na taj način zajedno sa Izetom Đuzelom želi da podstakne razvoj likovne umjetnosti u svom rodnom gradu.
Od 1982. godine Narcis je održao 25 samostalnih izložbi, između ostalog u San Dijegu, Štutgartu, Minhenu, Londonu, Beogradu, Sarajevu, Derventi, Zenici, a zajedno sa drugim umjetnicima izlagao je preko stotinu pedeset puta. |
Narcis Kantardžić
Was born in Derventa, B&H, in 1958 and is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts, Sarajevo. He lives and works in Celje, Slovenia. The practice of painting covered with the patina of bygone eras and overgrown with the ivy of certain classical spiritualism become a lever of a repeated an most probably eternal self-examination about the artist's mission, status of works of art and the power of their declared context, especially under the conditions of the post-modernistic state of society. His brilliant sfumatto painted view of the Horizon of remote landscape marked by vertical silhouettes of stone pines reminds us of the paintings of the 15th and the beginning of the16th Century.
However, his paintings are drawn to a mysterious symbolism of the north through a sinister premonition which is articulately reflected by images. There is no room for a human figure in an Arcadianlike celestial, cool and insensitive landscape.
The key of images can be found in the enigmatic presence of imaginative architecture of tower filled with a clear message from a Freudian arsenal of bearers of archetype symbolism.
